An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sister role working across a series of Outpatients Clinics at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We are an energetic friendly team looking for an experienced Senior Sister who is dynamic, supportive and flexible who can demonstrate confident established leadership skills.

This is a very busy role overseeing 4 clinical outpatients areas: Medical and Surgical Outpatients, Plastic Surgery Outpatients, Ophthalmology outpatients and Fracture clinic outpatients The post holder must be able to competently deal with competing clinical and managerial priorities and be calm and compassionate in their care of patients.

The post holder will need to possess relevant experience that demonstrates their suitability for the role and have a desire to further develop their management and leadership skills. Appropriate support will be provided.

Informal visits are encouraged.

Main duties of the job

The Trust's Outpatient Services is centralised and the post holder will be responsible for the following clinical specialities Fracture clinic, Ophthalmology, Main Outpatients services and Plastic Surgery. The post holder will provide clinical and management leadership across all of these areas and will directly line manage a variety of staff, that will include other non-nursing teams. There will be a need to support other clinical areas and the Junior Sisters and Orthopaedic practitioners within those teams.
