Hampshire CAMHS have had a fantastic �6.6m investment to enhance, expand and develop new services across Hampshire CAMHS, making this a hugely exciting time to join us.
The expansion includes a new psychiatric liaison service, which sits within the Emergency Department and Paediatric Wards at Hampshire Hospitals, operating Monday-Sunday 0800-2200. We are looking forBand 6 Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Social Workerswith mental health experience to join us and help us to build this fantastic new service.

Robust and supportive supervision and governance arrangements are in place to support high quality and effective clinical practice.
This post offers the Trust's �4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of �8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
Main duties of the job
As a Mental Health Practitioner (Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist) in our team, you will work in partnership with children and young people who present in crisis in A& E. You will offer specialist mental health assessments and short-term interventions, including care and safety planning, risk assessment and management, and facilitate safe discharge.
You will work alongside acute care colleagues, providing advice and consultation on appropriate mental health care planning to support a holistic care and discharge plan for young people with mental health needs who are admitted to acute paediatric wards. As part of a wider team, you will ensure rotas and safe operating practices are in place and provide clinical supervision to staff and students.
