Applications are invited from competent, able practitioners who wish to provide dynamic support to the theatre Trauma and Orthopaedic team.
The operating department includes 16 in-patient theatres within the Division plus the Surgical Day Unit (3 GA theatres and Paediatric Day facility.Main duties of the job
The theatres provide an operating service to the following clinical specialities: General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Obstetrics, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Maxilo-facial, Robotic Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT and IVF.
There is also provision for 2 x dedicated emergency theatres and 2 x dedicated Trauma theatres within the complex.The division is committed to staff development and offers an excellent competency based training package.
