Would you like to be part of a service which is innovative, forward-thinking and committed to enabling people who are experiencing eating disorders to recover and discover their potential?
We currently have a team leader opportunity based at Altham Meadows in Lancaster covering The Bay EDS team.
We are seeking someone with a caring, compassionate nature, who are innovative, creative, flexible and highly motivated. Primarily you provide leadership to the east team in the all age eating disorder service. You should be an excellent communicator and team player, with the successful applicant joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals to provide assessment and treatment to children and adult service users and their families/carers. The team includes a range of other psychological professionals, nurses, dietitians and a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
Main duties of the job
Existing experience in eating disorders is not essential, however, a keen interest to develop knowledge and skills in this field and a strong desire to help service users and families is vital. The successful candidate will benefit from regular supervision, with encouragement to engage with CPD activities as appropriate. We have a strong leadership team, who will also ensure the post holder is fully supported in role.
The hours are full time, however there is flexibility we would be happy to discuss how these can be worked to fit with yourself and the service.
This is an exciting time and a chance to work in this specialist all age service - if this sounds like something you wish to be involved in, please contact those highlighted below who will happily discuss this further.
