Are you an established band 6 therapist or a band 5 therapist looking for their next step looking for a development role and opportunity to develop your skills working with a small caseload of children and adults with a learning disability?

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join ourLearning Disability Intensive Support Service (LDISS). We are a nationally recognised service, providing people with a Learning Disability that cannot be supported in mainstream services, the required support in the community with the aim at keeping people at home and out of hospital.

We welcome applications from Speech & Language Therapists who are experienced in working independently with adults and younger people with a learning disability to join our Multidisciplinary team working with colleagues from psychology, nursing, and occupational therapy. You will have the opportunity to liaise and support clients, carers and professionals across services and agencies across Gloucestershire to provide assessment and intervention to support service users to be included in their communities and achieve their potential.
