St David's Hospital specialises in rehabilitation and complex care for the older patient. You will be part of an efficient and effective Multi-disciplinary team which has a strong rehabilitation and 'Home first' ethos. We have vacancies across 3 wards, Rhydlafar, Lansdowne & Elizabeth. Full and part time hours considered successful candidates will work a combination of day and night shifts.

Main duties of the job

As a staff nurse your main duties will be:

To be responsible for the assessment of care needs

• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans
• To be responsible for own group of patients
• To advocate on behalf of patients to ensure the patient's voice is heard
• The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team
• Teams in St Davids are committed to providing excellent dementia care & are advocates for 'Johns campaign'.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
