An opportunity has arisen for and enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Cardiac Physiologist and Certified Cardiac Device Specialist holding current IBHRE or BHRS qualification to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated band 7 with previous experience in a broad range of diagnostic cardiology investigations, including non-invasive and invasive , with the skills to interpret the results independently to provide factual / clinical reports.
This role includes, but is not exclusive to, pacemaker/ICD implantation and follow up, encompassing CRT and ICD devices, exercise ECG testing, ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring. Basic echo skills would be advantageous.
You will have BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, RCCP or AHCS registration, ILS or ALS.

Main duties of the job
- Provide technical expertise in specialised invasive and non-invasive procedures in a variety of clinical settings.
- Record and report on various cardiac physiology investigations provided by the department.
- Interpret test results and provide a scientific report on the findings.
- Participate in the supervision and training of students and staff.
- Assist Senior Chief Physiologist in supervision of junior physiologists and ATO members of staff.
