We are recruiting to a variety of roles working as part of an innovative MDT. You will be working for Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust with your base at either the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital or The Princess Royal Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the care of patients enabling them to step down to their normal place of residence faster
As a registered senior nurse you will be experienced in working in a multi disciplinary / multi-agency health / social care environment with knowledge of IT basic administration systems including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc).
You will be patient focussed and have the ability to carry out comprehensive holistic nursing assessments and be able to prioritise and make sound decisions, sometimes under pressure.
Main duties of the job
To provide holistic and person-centred care and support community patients in an acute setting.
To function as a competent clinical practitioner within their designated clinical area.
To deliver direct patient care whilst, co-ordinating and overseeing nursing practice.
To ensure that there is efficient and effective utilisation of resources to deliver optimum quality care to their client group.
To deputise for the Ward Manager in their absence, driving forward evidence-based practice and taking responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area.
