We are a consultant led unit and cover a wide range of specialities which results in a varied and interesting workload, no two days are the same. There is the opportunity to keep skills up to date in anaesthetics, scrub and recovery. We are looking for Registered Nurses with an Anaesthetic qualification or ODPs who are motivated, forward thinking, flexible and who are looking to contribute to outstanding patient experience. You will have an interest in Day Surgery and a desire to improve your theatre skills in line with the needs of the department. You will be supported by the team in developing the appropriate competencies to work in anaesthetics, scrub and recovery as well as progressing in your career.

Communicate with members of the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care and promote effective team working.
To assist with the teaching and supervision of learners and other staff.
