The post-holder will be involved in the collation, processing, analysis, presentation & interpretation of, contract and financial costing information within the Commercial Analytics Team (consisting of Commissioning and Costing functions). Key to the role will be handling data from a variety of sources in varying formats, performing complex database queries and spreadsheet analyses to generate both routine & ad-hoc reports to support the business, capacity planning and information needs of the Trust. *Please be advised that interviews for this vacancy will take place on 20th December 2023*Main duties of the job
Assist in the production and validation of routine and adhoc information (activity and cost information).
Conduct investigations into significant data anomalies and respond to queries from internal and external sources.
Assist in data analysis and modelling to support production of capacity plans, contract activity targets and activity costing.
Interrogate the data warehouse using SQL and interface with Excel, using pivot tables and functions for the purposes of analysis and report generation, presenting Trust data in appropriate formats as requested by the Advanced Commercial Analyst and other managers.
