LOOKING FOR A NEW, VARIED AND EXCITING ROLE IN CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES?

Due to maternity leave, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Mental Health Support Team in Boston or Skegness as a Clinical Lead Practitioner, a diverse role for which Qualified CBT Therapists, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Registered Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational therapists, and Social Workers are all welcome to apply. The post can be based in Boston or Skegness depending on the applicant's preference.

The post is a 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity.

The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST’s) support children and young people aged 5-18 within school and college settings who are presenting with mental health or emotional health problems which are of a low to moderate level of complexity and/or intensity.

The post holder will support approximately ten schools in either the Boston or Skegness area, depending on preference. These schools are situated within a small geographical area to minimise travel needs etc.

We are working with our education settings to implement Public Health England’s Whole School Approach, part of which will be to deliver training and promote awareness to create an inclusive educational environment.

As a clinical lead practitioner, you will hold a small caseload of young people, providing interventions for moderate mental health needs. You will take a lead on the support provided to the schools in your area, providing regular consultation, advice and training to professionals. You will also provide management supervision to two Education Mental Health Practitioners working in your area.

The post holder will receive regular managerial and clinical supervision to support them throughout this role. There will be opportunity to access internal training as well as identification of other development needs via their appraisal.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, although part time hours and flexible working are always considered.
