We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated data analyst to support the Wessex Maternal Medicine Network in the use of data to improve the delivery of patient care and services. The post will play a key role in maximizing the potential of data collected across the Network, contributing to supporting improvement and network progression.
Your data analysis skills will help us develop and lead the team and ensure we provide a responsive, high-quality service for our women and birthing people whilst meeting our data collection requirements. This will require an attention to detail and collaborative working with our digital teams to ensure we can develop data collection that supports the development of the maternal medicine network. You will be expected to work collaboratively and liaise closely with colleagues within the network footprint and external stakeholders as well as understand practice management practices in general.Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dedicated, flexible individual who is willing to be responsible for providing analytical, modelling and data support in relation to the Wessex Maternal Medicine Network Have proven IT skills in an analytical capacity, including good working knowledge of relational databases and information systems with data retrieval skills using software packages such as SQL and Power BI. Be proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications (e.g Teams, Excel, Word Powerpoint). Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate with a wide range of people. Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently utilising excellent time management skills. Able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection. Ability to provide information that can feed into the reports provided to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. Work with our digital teams across the network to ensure accuracy of data that can be used to inform reporting requirements. Be responsible for producing ad hoc data and data needed to support and inform service projects. Be accountable to the lead midwife for the Maternal Medicine Network. Whilst you will be remote working, we are looking for an individual who is willing to travel to the Princess Anne Hospital, if required.
