An opportunity has arisen for the post of a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Band 5 on PICU Ward which is a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in Carmarthen.
PICU Ward is a 8 bedded unit based in Hafan Derwen Hospital for male and female patients.
Main duties of the job
There is an opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team who is interested in providing high quality, collaborative care, working in a multi-disciplinary team structure. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual who is able to work under pressure and join our dedicated team of staff within the acute ward.
Care and treatment is provided with an emphasis on recovery, providing hope and optimism for the future, evidenced based interventions and Psychological Therapies.
There is opportunity to learn new skills and develop professionally within a positive and challenging environment. The rota involves a variety of shift patterns including day/night duties over a 24 hour period to suit service requirements
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
