The primary purpose is to manage, expand and maintain an End-of-Life Care (Butterfly) volunteering service. This service has been running at West Middlesex University Hospital since mid-2021 and was recently launched at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The post holder will be required to attract, recruit, train, induct and retain a group of Butterfly Volunteers. The volunteers provide a companionship service for patients who are in the last hours and days of their life. They also support those important to them such as friends, family, and carers.
