We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Midwife to join our highly motivated and unique Midwifery team on Gwenllian ward in Bronglais Hospital. Our close-knit team supports approximately 450 women and birthing people to birth every year, as well as seeing many more for antenatal care and triage attendances. Our team is passionate about providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care on Gwenllian ward, to a safe and high standard.
Midwives within our team support all aspects of maternity care on our one maternity ward, including midwifery and obstetric led births, triage, and emergency neonatal stabilisation.
Bronglais Hospital is located in Aberystwyth, a vibrant university town on the west coast of mid Wales. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the hospital, and the sunsets are unrivalled. We are a small community in Aberystwyth, and the locals are extremely supportive of our hospital and our maternity service.Main duties of the job
