We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced dietitian to provide 12 months maternity cover from February 2024 for a comprehensive dietetic service for patients diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs). You will work as part of the Wessex NET Group providing care at a range of locations across Dorset and Hampshire. The Wessex NET Group has accreditation as a European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society Centre of Excellence.

Neuroendocrine tumour patients often have complex dietetic needs due to the effect of the tumours themselves, previous bowel and pancreatic surgery and the complex medical treatment and medications required. You will be working alongside the NET MDT of consultants and specialist nurses across Wessex with your employer being University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian, with excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well as part of an MDT team. Ideally the candidate would have experience of working with NET patients although applicants with oncology and pancreatic/bowel surgery experience will be considered.
