We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational leader with vision, enthusiasm, and commitment to join the Clinical Support Services Group as Group Director of Operations.
Clinical Support Services is a large Group spread across two sites, a budget of �142m and 2,000 staff.
Main duties of the job
The role will suit those who are ready to take the next step on the career path to chief operating officer. Leading one of our groups offers the experience of operating services at a geographical scale and complexity rarely found outside of a chief operating officers brief.
You will join a supportive team and have the delegated accountability for your services and performance within the group, whilst being part of a wider senior team supporting executive decision making.
It is an exciting time to be joining the Group, supporting the Trust with the ongoing delivery of elective recovery plans, the focus on improving productivity for theatres and outpatients and delivering financial balance. The Clinical Support Services Group is already a leader in terms of cutting edge technology, with Surgical Assisted Robots (DaVinci and Maco) and a national first with the Omnicell Pharmacy Robot.

As an experienced leader you will bring the enthusiasm to drive forward this exciting and complex brief. You will also have the appreciation and skills for working in a triumvirate partnership with the divisional medical and nursing directors, to ensure our services are safe, effective, and well-led.
