You will be working in a complex care environment, taking care of patients who have dementia or long term medical conditions such as Parkinson's Disease. You will be working on all shift patterns, providing high quality patient care with compassion and integrity.

You will receive first class support and direction from the ward sister and the nursing team. We will actively encourage the successful applicants to continue with their own professional and personal development.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will need to work as an active member of the team and at all times deliver high standards of patient care, while maintaining a positive experience for the patients.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse Level 1
  • Teaching certificate - ENB 998 or equivalent


Desirable

  • Evidence of former professional development


Experience

Essential

  • Broad based clinical background and strong professional knowledge.
  • Evidence of teaching in clinical practice
  • Team leader or people management experience.


Desirable

  • Experience of implementing change


Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible approach to the provision of holistic, clinically effective care.


Desirable

  • Willing to undertake expanded practice roles as required.
