Beyond the hospital, we have also played a major role in the creation of place-based partnerships across the health and care system - enabling everyone to receive care that runs smoothly, regardless of organisation.
The Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities is an influential and important position within the Trust. Reporting into the Director of Strategy and Estates, the post-holder will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of our Estates and Facilities functions, ensuring support in the delivery of high-quality healthcare. You will provide strategic direction and advice on the safety of the built environment and hold corporate responsibility, providing assurance to the Trust Board and Trust Committees.

The post-holder will ensure the highest quality of delivery and compliance within estates, facilities and capital projects, developing the Trust's CAFM system, PAM and ERIC. Achieving best value and efficiencies from budget management, continually developing the Trust's Green Plan, contributing to corporate decision making will all be crucial to ensure success.
The Trust are looking for a post-holder that shares our values with a passion for providing the best possible services for our patients, celebrating success, being honest, an excellent team player, and valuing diversity. Significant experience in leading within estates and facilities management will be essential, demonstrating how they have be involved with managing change, developing strategy and effectively managing complex budgets. An ability to develop effective partnerships, understand the complexities of contract and commercial management, be innovative with problem solving, are all factors that the Trust will be looking for in the post-holder.
