We are looking for student midwives who have trained in the UK and are due to qualify and be eligible for entry onto the UK NMC register by April 2024, or Band 5 midwives that wish to join our preceptorship as part of an adapted programme.

Its a brilliant time to be a part of this new journey here with us at Birmingham Womens Hospital. Provision of seamless maternal care and wellbeing for all women, families and birthing people is at the forefront of our practice. Our midwives strive to provide holistic care for all service users and pride ourselves on expertise, knowledge and the delivery of evidence based, family centered midwifery care.

You will have the option to join either our traditional rotational preceptorship programme (covering broad range of areas including Antenatal, Postnatal, Delivery Suite, Birth Centre and Community rotations), or our continuity of care team preceptorship package.

We are able to support full time and part time applications with a trust flexible working policy to support work life balance.

Unfortunately we are unable to support any further applications that would require NMC OSCE at this time.
