Main duties of the job

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team. We can offer you a warm welcome to our Acute rehabilitation and trauma unit (ARTU). The successful applicant will have good communication skills. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience. (ARTU is a 27 bedded ground breaking new unit, caring for acute patients stepping down from intensive care, or straight from theatres or A& E, requiring support to achieve their maximum potential for physical, cognitive, social and psychological function. ARTU is one of the first 'hyper-acute specialised rehabilitation units to be developed within a Major Trauma centre. The ward based multidisciplinary team will care for patients requiring specialised rehabilitation following severe head trauma, complex spinal injuries, polytrauma and other acquired brain injury.)

Within ARTU we have 8 level 1 beds caring for patients with Tracheostomy and acute trauma polytrauma needs.ARTU needs you. If you think you are ready to work in acute trauma and rehabilitation, then we would like to hear from you.
