Are you passionate about supporting Internationally Educated Nurses who come to work in the UK? Do you value the amazing contribution that they make to the NHS? If the answer to the questions above is YES, then this role may be what you are looking for. We are recruiting an Internal Recruitment and Pastoral Care Nurse Advocate.

Main duties of the job

As the International Recruitment and Pastoral Care Nurse Advocate, you will play an active part in facilitating and coordinating the International Nursing recruitment programme, as well as developing and coordinating the pastoral care package for Internationally Educated Nurses. No two days will be the same. You will be coordinating the recruitment of internationally educated nurses, alongside the HR recruitment team, and supporting clinical colleagues during the interview process. You will welcome each new internationally educated RN as they arrive at PHU and you will work closely with the Learning and Development team, and deliver the first day of the induction process. You will continue to play an integral part in supporting the IENs as they integrate into our nursing teams, and you will provide them with pastoral support during their time working here. You will have opportunities to celebrate their successes with them and support them when times are harder for them.
