An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Mental Health Practitioner within our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team based in Congleton. The Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service is made up of multiple teams that include Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line. This post will be based within the Cheshire East locality, with in the Home Treatment Team.
Main duties of the job
The role of a Practitioner is to work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing a comprehensive assessment of people presenting in crisis. You will undertake detailed assessments of people's needs and use your clinical skills and knowledge to provide intervention and treatment. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service.

- NMC registered nurse, or Social Worker (AMP's) or Allied Healt
- Professionals educated to degree/diploma level and registered with the appropriate professional body registration
- To possess specialist knowledge across a range of procedures underpinned by theory

- Evidence of further professional development involving serious mental illness

- Knowledge of social and health care legislation and the ability to apply knowledge appropriately.
