This position plays a vital role in supporting the IT implementation, business change planning and delivery for the Trust and its partners.

It demands a blend of stakeholder engagement, programme planning and controls and ITIL knowledge. Reporting to the Head of IT Programmes and Service Delivery you will ensure that IT requirements are understood, planned and projects resourced to deliver within scope, time and cost.

We have an outsourced service partner, so ensuring that take on into service is clear for all parties is also essential.

You will be a key partner for colleagues across the Trust, working to resolve service issues and escalations. This will involve troubleshooting and implementing sustainable solutions and service improvements that enable the Trust to work effectively for staff and patients.

We have one permanent role and one 18 month fixed term role available.

This role will include cross site working.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who can work in a complex and fast paced environment and who is able to build constructive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partner organisations.

You will have strong planning and programme controls skills, taking requirements from colleagues and turning them into actionable work requests and implementable projects and supporting your project managers to deliver successfully.

Developing your programme, you will understand forecasting and how to monitor progress, ensuring that appropriate governance processes are followed by your team and supporting escalations to resolution.

You will also understand ITIL principles and be able to support your service staff with day to day service delivery needs and escalations from colleagues across your assigned divisions. Working collaboratively with your peer Senior Relationship Managers, you will provide seamless cover across the Trust as a team.
