An exciting position is being offered to an experienced Echocardiographer who strives for excellence and looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a world class Private Patient diagnostic imaging centre located in the heart of London.
As a Highly Specialist Echocardiographer, you will be joining and assisting the wider team of colleagues in providing a range of specialist clinical physiological services relating to echocardiography such as resting transthoracic, 3D/strain, bubble, contrast studies, congenital, stress (physiological and pharmacological) echocardiography.
If you have BSE, EACVI or equivalent TTE accreditation, experience working across multidisciplinary teams, have a strong work ethic, looking for promotion opportunities and want to be valued for your contribution then this is the job for you.
Main duties of the job
Independently perform and report the highest quality echocardiograms to all service users, in accordance with departmental protocol and standards.
Jointly oversee the daily running of the echo service, ensuring stock levels are adequate and equipment is in good operating order.
Offer just in time services, to ensure smooth day to day running of the echo service.
Assisting with the booking of private patients and liaising with the administration team as well as any other relevant team members.
Exercise clinical responsibility for undertaking audits and presenting cases at departmental meetings.

The Wimpole Street Diagnostic services have a wide range of state of the art equipment in echocardiography, x-ray, ultrasound, PET-CT, MRI, non- invasive and lung function.
The post holder will work as a member of the Private Patient team and play a significant role in the ongoing development of this new and expanding facility.
The post holder is expected to work as an effective and responsible practitioner, supporting others and the wider team, in a flexible and approachable manner.
The post holder is expected to play a positive role in the continuous development of the new facility by identifying, evaluating, and implementing innovative service developments that will enhance our customers experience.
The post holder will ensure compliance with clinical governance and will take part in any inspection requested by statutory bodies such as Health and Safety or CQC.
The post holder will act as the nominated lead for resuscitation trolley and infection control compliance for their clinical area.
