The overall purpose of the Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) Programme is to enable the early detection of lung cancer in order to save lives. UCLH and NCL Cancer Alliance has identified high disease and smoking prevalence areas within NCL where a significant impact can be made from detecting early stage lung cancer.
We are looking for dynamic, values led and nurses, to be involved in this new service, working as a team of nurses across 2 sites screening the public for lung cancer.
The successful candidates are expected to work in both clinic sites at Mortimer Market and Finchley Memorial Hospital and will report to the senior staff nurse for the TLHC service.
Main duties of the job
If you are ready for the challenge, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a unique service as it moves from a research pilot to a national screening program.
We are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as they are underrepresented at a senior level within the organisation.
