An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse who has an interest in Health Visiting to work with the Health Visiting Team in Ceredigion.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to be committed to delivering high standards of care and actively seek and promote professional working relationships with other statutory and voluntary practitioners. The post holder, working jointly with the Health Visitor will be responsible for the assessment of health needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care to meet the needs of the child and their family. In order to apply you will need to possess a Registered Children Nurse Qualification or an Adult Registered Nurse Qualification. The prior would be preferable and be registered in the appropriate part of the NMC. The successful candidate will be expected to work towards the competencies required to apply for the Health Visiting SCPHN course within the 2 years of being in post.

The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential. Please demonstrate your ability to fulfil this criteria in your application.
