Band 7 Health Promotion and Prehabilitation Programme Manager (Perioperative Medicine Team)
PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed-term / secondment opportunity for 12 months.
We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, proactive and highly motivated Nurse, Manager or AHP to join our Perioperative medicine team for a 12 month secondment/fixed-term contract.
We are looking for the post holder to be able to work effectively as part of a team both internally and with external partners, maintain a flexible approach to service development and demands, be able to develop services and pathways of care whilst adhering to set timelines.
The post holder will be responsible for providing inspirational, visible and accessible leadership to the teams in order to deliver key quality metrics.
The focus would be on ensuring we are providing high quality care that is responsive to the needs of our population whilst supporting the development of the perioperative medicine pathway.
Main duties of the job
Work as a health promotion programme manager, working closely with care coaches, senior nurses, clinicians and managers to develop and deliver high standards of patient-focused, evidence-based care across the patient pathway.
Act at an individual, clinical team, care group and organisational level as a role model for transformational leadership and display excellent facilitation skills. You will work as a catalyst for exploring new ways of working across Prehabilitation and perioperative medicine pathways to deliver cost-effective, quality care.
The post holder will work as an expert practitioner and is responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of the client group.
Work in line with RBH strategic objectives to contribute towards achieving the Trust's key priorities, demonstrating sustained commitment to change agenda.
