If you are looking for a new challenge in your career, then this is the role for you. Our NHS 111 (Integrated Urgent care) call centres are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated clinicians to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.
In addition to the attractive salary, our offer includes unsocial payments where appropriate under Section 2 of the NHS Terms and Conditions (excerpt below), an attractive NHS Pension, a generous holiday allowance as well as ongoing training and support for your continual professional development and progression.
Unsocial hours payments
All time on Saturday (midnight to midnight) and any week day after 8pm and before 6am - time plus 30%
All time on Sunday and Public Holidays (midnight to midnight) - time plus 60%
We offer full NHS Pathways training and enhanced telephone-triage communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, we offer a high standard and professional service to our patients, supporting them by providing high level, evidence-based care, where necessary signposting to the most appropriate service or care provider including, ambulance dispatch and the wider community based services.
As part of working within the IUC team, you will be offered training and support into the field of remote clinical triage and assessment, with opportunity to progress and develop professionally through a verity of CPD opportunities.

Our multi-disciplinary team of staff provide a high level of clinical care to patients across the Yorkshire and Humber region, using telephone communication systems. Our clinical staff are highly skilled in the field of remote clinical triage and assessment, supported by computer based decision making tools.
We are looking for both full and part-time staff, to cover roster patterns to include working across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications / Knowledge.
Essential
- Registered Midwife or Nurse (Adult RN1 RNA, Mental Health RN3 RNMH, Learning Disabilities RN5 RNLD, Children RN8 RNC) or Registered Paramedic (HCPC)
- Degree or Post Graduate qualification or minimum two years post registration experience
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
