The post will carry overall continuing responsibility for the management and leadership of Ceredigion Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team including administration and the overall co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting and auditing of standards of care.

The overall responsibility for workload management and reviews. Responsible for providing a quality patient service which allows for an environment that demonstrates good learning experiences for staff and basic/post basic students.

In addition to this is the close working with the CMHT and all services involved in providing care within community and inpatient settings.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential

• RMN (RNMH)
• Occupational Therapist or Registered Social Worker
• Have a recognised postgraduate management qualification and or a specialist qualification related to working with individuals with Serious enduring mental illness or equivalent experience

Desirable

• Approved Mental Health Professional
• WNB 998/Practice Teacher Award and assessing or equivalent. HCR-20 Training

Experience

Essential

• Leadership skills, significant current experience in area of practice or similar
• Previous experience of supervising staff
• Relevant previous experience of working in a multi professional/agency setting
