We are seeking a passionate and inspired individual to be responsible for the direct delivery of all patient services across Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service under direction from the Director of Operations.
As the Deputy Director of Operations, you'll role model a values led compassionate style of leadership which promotes empowerment and ensures that decision-making is allocated to appropriate levels, allowing our teams to feel they make a valuable contribution, leading to a high performing, inclusive, open and transparent culture. Using your management expertise, you'll support the Director of Operations to ensure that all operational performance targets, including waiting lists, finance, quality of services to patients and improve services towards best practice standards within available income are achieved.
What's more, you'll work closely with the senior leadership teams within the Divisions and the Saint Mary's Hospital Directors to deliver ambitious strategies, plans and objectives so collaboration and shared thinking will be an everyday ingredient in this role.
Main duties of the job
Service Delivery
o To manage all services across Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service (MCS) ensuring the development and maintenance of the highest standards.
o In conjunction with the Divisions and the Saint Mary's Directors, ensure that the Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service is able to meet its operational performance standards.
o To assume responsibility for the resolution of any urgent issues within Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service under the advice and guidance of the Director of Operations.
o To participate in the Senior Manager/Director's on-call rota as required
