Senior Neuro Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - Fixed Term -12 months
We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our Band 6 Neuro Team based at Frimley Park Hospital for a fixed term maternity cover.
We are looking for dynamic, professional and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our friendly & supportive team. This is an ideal opportunity to build upon your existing knowledge and develop skills within a top class hyper acute and acute stroke unit as well as gaining experience of other neurological conditions.
The successful candidate would be expected work with the neuro team to provide excellent patient care, but also provide supervision and support to junior members of the team and participate in service development to ensure we are always facing the future.They should also expect to participate in our rostered weekend service.
This post is available for a 12-month term however a shorter term would be considered to support individual learning objectives for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include clinical management of patients and relevant paperwork. To contribute to the continued development and maintenance of efficiency and safety in the Occupational Therapy (OT) Department.
To be flexible at times of increased capacity to the service.
The Senior OT contributes to the provision, co-ordination, and development of OT services for their specific section. Assists in training and supervising junior staff and students and participates in administrative functions of the OT Department.
