An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Deputy Ward Manager on Coral Ward at Ardenleigh, Women's Secure Blended Service.
You will be working alongside the current management team to lead a motivated nursing team to provide excellent care.
You will be provided with support throughout your employment with us, including opportunities for Leadership and Management Training, regular clinical and management supervision and ongoing CPD opportunities to develop your career.
We can consider flexible-working to suit personal circumstances.
Main duties of the job
Ardenleigh provides specialist care for service users that often have complex mental health needs and offers support in people's recovery through holistic treatments promoting social inclusion, self-management, personal autonomy and independence.
Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment, and will need to demonstrate a range of skills including ability to risk assess, effective communication skills, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills, as well as an ability to work within the Trauma Informed Care model.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and motivated Deputy Ward Manager who is passionate about providing and maintaining our high quality standards and compassionate care to females within the secure care pathway and driving the team to continue to provide a high standard of care to the women on our ward.
You will be part of a wider MDT and nursing team who pride themselves on making a huge difference in the lives of the women we care for. It can be challenging yet the rewards outweigh those challenges.
