We are excited to be offering a fixed term 1 year post, 0.8wte Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner post, for suitably qualified, skilled and experienced applicants, in the CAMHS team covering Gwynedd and Anglesey. We are a friendly, experienced and dynamic multi-disciplinary team based in a beautiful part of North Wales.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to engage children and young people (0-18 years old), and their families, where the young person has severe mental health difficulties. The post holder will conduct assessments, develop working formulations, and will offer appropriate, evidenced based interventions to the young person and their family. They will work closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team. Flexibility to work across different areas of the service and geographical locations is required. Candidates must hold a core qualification recognised by the Mental Health Measure Wales 2010 and be registered with a relevant professional body.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
