We are seeking a Programme Support Officer to join our dynamic team at the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust!
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the efficient management of our project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include supporting day-to-day activities, arranging meetings, coordinating leave and overtime, assisting with recruitment, and guiding team members on setting objectives and personal development plans.
You'll also contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of reporting and tracking methods, ensuring that projects are progressing as planned. Your role will involve running various project reports and optimising existing processes through process maps and guidance. Your support will be integral to delivering high-quality project services and administrative assistance, along with information and analysis.
As a crucial team member, your primary objective is to promote the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to enhance a range of projects, services, and initiatives.

Main duties of the job
You will be a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
The base for this role is County Hall, Taunton but we are a flexible employer so the opportunity to work from other locations including home will be considered.
The role will require travel between sites as we support acute, community and mental health services within the county.
