We are a busy, motivated and dynamic multidisciplinary Team.
The post holder will rotate between the cardiac catheter laboratories and day ward. They will play a key role to ensure high standards of nursing care are maintained.
We have two Cardiac Catheter Laboratories in the purpose-built Acute Admissions Unit at Watford General Hospital.
They are dedicated Cardiac Catheter Laboratories which have been recently refurbished to a high standard with an adjacent 12 bedded Day Unit incorporating a Radial lounge.
As well as providing Diagnostic Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Primary PCI and Pacemaker Implantation service for elective and In patients we have expanded our current cardiology services to provide an ICD, EP and cardiac Resynchronisation service.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a new environment and be part of such a dynamic team
Main duties of the job
You will require experience in an acute cardiology setting with management experience and evidence of recent professional development.
Experience in assisting with cardiac procedures such as angiography, PCI, pacemaker insertion and cardioversion is preferable however training will be provided.
Working hours: Monday to Friday daytime
