An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join the general surgical division at The Rotherham NHS Foundation trust, working with both elective and emergency patients (B10 and Sitwell ward).
Ward B10 and Sitwell are busy elective/emergency surgical wards looking after patients from a wide range of specialities including general surgery, urology and maxillofacial.
We have a friendly, well-established surgical team with whom we work with daily to provide high quality care to our patients. The post holder will work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment.

Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate should have post registration experience ideally in a surgical environment, be motivated and enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, wish to consolidate/develop their surgical skills as well as others skills and provide high quality person-centred care to our patients from admission to discharge.
They should be dedicated to sharing their skills and knowledge with new and junior staff.
