We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and creative individual to join our friendly and supportive research business team. This important role will manage our award winning STARS research education and training programme and linked projects. You will also develop and manage our research communications and events such as our annual conference. The role will be blended working with a combination of working from home and the offices in Stafford.

Main duties of the job
- You will manage the day to day running of the STARS research education programme as well as using your initiative to look for opportunities to develop and improve the programmeYou will support with other linked projects, using your project management skills to provide advice, information and support where required
- You will use your creativity and communications experience to work with the business team to develop and implement a communications plan across different media including social media, webpages, newsletter articles, videos etc in order to raise the profile of the research department.
- You will lead the organisation of research and innovation events such as the annual conference.

Job responsibilities
Working within a friendly and supportive team led by the Research Senior Business Manager you will:
- Manage the day to day running of the STARS research and education programme, supported by an administrator
- Continuously evaluate the STARS programme, looking for areas of improvement, developing proposals and implementing them where required
- Support with projects related to STARS where required
- Lead on the department communications plan, working with others to create content in a variety of different media and ensuring communications are promoted effectively
- Monitor and manage research department social media accounts according to Trust guidance
- Manage the organisation of all research and innovation related events such as the annual conference
- Provide line management to Business Support Assistants
