Here at our Basildon Hospital site we are seeking an experienced Senior Charge Nurse to come join our busy and dynamic Children's Department.
Our children's department has 2 wards and a large cohort of staff that covers a large local area. The appointed applicant will have overall responsibility for the management of the Paediatric Wards. This post would suit professional who has the ability to step up as a role model, an efficient leader and has a true passion for patient safety and care.
Main duties of the job
Are you an inspirational Senior Children's Nurse wishing to join a new team?
We are looking for Band 7 Senior Sisters / Charge Nurses to join our Paediatric Department team. You need to be highly motivated and able to deliver a high standard of nursing care.
Our paediatric wards are well established and have a large cohort of staff including nursing, support staff and an admin team.
We have a fantastic group of Clinical Practice Facilitators that will support you on your transitional journey into our wonderful team.
We offer exciting opportunities for career development within our service for all grades of staff. We have a robust education and training programme provided by our Clinical Practice Facilitators. You will be joining an existing dedicated and experienced senior nursing team.
We are looking to expand our current band 7 team on the Children's Wards and we welcome applicants with experience at band 6 or 7 in Children's nursing. We are committed to supporting our staff and enhancing your career development.
