We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join the vascular/leg ulcer nursing team. The role will involve working as a member of the nursing team in 7 community leg ulcer clinics throughout the county. It will involve implementation of local and national clinical pathways of care and improvements to the service.

The hours are 22.5 per week and the post is a permanent position.

Car driver with business cover insurance is essential to travel to all clinics.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as an integral member of both the leg and vascular nursing service ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service on a day to day basis.

The post holder will be expected to undertake comprehensive, holistic assessment of patients with both vascular wounds and leg ulceration and subsequently plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of evidence based care.

The post holder will be expected to provide evidence based professional advice on all aspects of leg ulcer management to patients and their carers.

• Evidence of a good standard of Literacy / English language skills
