An opportunity has arisen in Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS) for a Clinical Service Lead/ Operational Matron to join their Community Nursing Leadership Team on a year long secondment.
We are seeking an individual who is dynamic, driven, motivated and passionate about Community Nursing. We would like to work with an individual who is able to influence and lead on changes that drive forward our great service and uphold the quality patient care that we deliver. We thrive on delivering great care closer to home and would welcome applications from individuals who share our trust vision and values.
Our Community Nursing Teams are based across Lincolnshire therefore a choice of basepoints can be available for the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job
This is an ideal opportunity for an established leader with aspirations to progress their career in operational leadership as well as hold the passion to continue to drive forward the Community Nursing plan for the future. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for overseeing the operational delivery of Community Nursingcare in localised areas. Support with transformation, performance management, governance, budget management, contract management and business planning are key parts of this role. The role does require the candidate to work at pace, in a sometimes-pressured environment.
This role involves working closely with local teams across all service lines, corporate colleagues, our Lincolnshire Health and Social Care partners including Primary Care Networks and local GP surgeries to ensure exceptional care and an optimum patient experience.
This role reports directly to a Deputy Divisional Lead and linkswith the otherClinical Service Leads to ensure clinical and non-clinical safe, effective and high-quality services are provided. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop close and effective working relationship with peers, colleagues and key stakeholders working collaboratively within and across organisational boundaries
About us
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is in the top 25 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2021 NHS National Staff Survey.
At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS' workforce.
LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.
We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an 'earn while you learn' apprenticeship programme.
