We are looking for a new member of staff to join the Systems Integration & Development team within the ICT Department.
Nearly two years into the implementation of an EPR, there is increasing demand for data to be shared between specialist clinical systems.
The successful applicant will need good knowledge of HL7 and other interfacing principles between hospital systems as well as having hands on experience of the development of transactions/messages data item mappings...etc to develop the require integration solutions.
Main duties of the job
The role of the IT Systems Integration Analyst will focus on the delivery and development ofthe Trust's Integration Engine (Rhapsody), building and maintaining interfaces between key IT systems.
Development skills for HL7 interfaces, the Rhapsody integration engine and programming languages such as Javascript are essential.
A number of our interfaces feed into SQL databases, so SQL skills are also highly desirable.
You will be a member of a team focusing on integration as well as EPR development, so will need to be a team player and work well with others.

Job responsibilities
You will work alongside colleagues on a number of IT projects including new system deployments, upgrades to existing systems and interfacing existing systems with our EPR.
There will be close working with internal system
administrators as well as the external suppliers of the systems.
The post holder should have excellent communication skills, be well organised and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in report writing, HL7 messaging, general IT technical skills are all essential requirements for this post
