Our refurbished stand alone Frank Radcliffe Orthopaedic & fracture clinic is currently looking for a band 5 staff nurse or paediatric nurse to join our friendly team.
We are a busy environment and see over 25,000 patients per year. We currently treat a variety of Orthopaedic conditions including both elective & trauma pathways and we facilitate designated paediatric clinics.
The successful candidate would ideally have an experience in orthopaedic nursing although not essential but must be willing, with the appropriate training to undertake a wide range of clinical activities within the clinic environment including wound management, VTE risk assessments and the management of ongoing acute & chronic conditions liaising with physio & occupational therapist as required . They must also be willing to develop the required skillset to assist with theapplication & management of casts and braces as required . They should be flexible in there approach to work and be able to communicate effectively with both patients and all members of the multi disciplinary team
Must have current NMC registration
