We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical/Counselling Psychologists/Cognitive Behaviour Therapists to join the adult community Eating Disorder Service which is based in Salford, Greater Manchester. You will take responsibility for providing assessments and psychological therapies to adults from our contracted areas with a range of eating disorders. One of the posts is a FREED Champion post where you will join our existing FREED Champions to deliver early intervention. We are proud to have launched the first FREED pathway in Greater Manchester. There are posts covering Oldham, Bury, Tameside, Rochdale, Salford and Wigan and successful applicants can express a preference on area/s covered. The service is also likely to retain a partial remote offer as this has increased accessibility for those using our service and been effective. Therefore it is likely that some remote working is possible if preferred.

The team is friendly, compassionate and experienced in delivering high quality psychological and dietetic interventions to adults with a range of eating disorders. Clinical supervision, training and staff well-being are highly valued and supported.

Main duties of the job

You will take responsibility for providing assessments and psychological therapies to adults from our contracted areas with a range of eating disorders. One of the posts is a FREED Champion post where you will join our existing FREED Champions to deliver early intervention.

High quality external training will be provided in our main psychological therapies and this will be supported by individual and group model specific clinical supervision.
