Do you want to be a part of an exciting and innovative NHS Talking Therapies service here at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust.
We are a successful, supportive and established Talking therapies service providing psychological interventions for people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety disorders and/or depression. The service currently has a position available for a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who will provide high volume, low intensity interventions.
We are looking for a PWP to work in the North team covering Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and East Northants. We are based at Willowbrook Health Centre in Corby.

Main duties of the job
As a qualified PWP, you will have a key role to perform in the service we provide to people across the north of Northamptonshire. Using your clinical expertise, you will assess the suitability of new referrals through telephone assessments and provide short term, low intensity interventions via telephone, online or face to face. You will work closely with step 3 and step 4 colleagues and external services, to support safe onward referrals and step ups, at all times maintaining and advocating for patient dignity, confidentiality and inclusivity.

- conduct interviews to assess and support the patient's needs
- design and run group therapy sessions and webinars
- signpost patients to other helpful services
- keep accurate and up to date patient care records
- support and train other healthcare professionals
