Are you interested in developing your occupational therapy career in the interesting and varied area of neuropsychiatry? We are looking for an occupational therapist who is compassionate, inclusive and committed, to join our outpatient occupational therapy team for the West Midlands area and work alongside Band 5, 6 and 7 occupational therapists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. This post will be primarily working with people with chronic fatigue syndrome, but there is the opportunity to work across other pathways within neuropsychiatry.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with an interest and preferably experience in neurology or mental health settings and particularly fatigue management. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention for a defined caseload, both individually and supporting our online and face-to-face group programme. You will be working in a variety of settings , being based in the Barberry National Centre for Mental Health, but having the opportunity to work across the West Midlands in the community or in people's homes.
