Our in-house DCIQ Technical Support Team has received additional investment following the transition to the new RLDatix DCIQ software, a new opportunity has risen as a DCIQ Technical Specialist at NWAS.

The DCIQ Technical Specialist will be an internal expert in the use of RLDatix products used throughout the Trust. The post holder will work with the wider DCIQ portfolio to build, configure, and design the RLDatix system as per the agreed specification, develop and deliver advanced system training to ensure users are competent in the use and maintain the systems following go live.

The post holder will be an integral part of the implementation of RLDatix products across the Trust.

About us

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Educated to Degree level and/or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of RLDatix system specialist knowledge and experience.
  • Datix Certified Professional (DCP).
  • Business Intelligence Qualification.
  • Good knowledge of RLDatix systems.
  • Good knowledge of RLDatix products and strategies.
  • Good knowledge of system governance.
  • Demonstrable recent CPD.


Experience

Essential

  • Experience in RLDatix system build, configuration, and design.
  • Experience of data analysis, collection, and reporting.
  • Experience of data quality and assurance.
  • Experience in working with a RLDatix system within a large and complex NHS organisation.
  • Experience of managing a team.
