We are modernising the way we work in Beds and Luton 0-19 community services to improve our team processes and procedures and foster a one team approach to provide consistency and resilience.
To help deliver on this we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team in a new post as an 0-19 Administration Manager/Service Development Lead.
The principal role of this post is to drive and support the operational activities of the 0-19 team, to meet operational and business needs that support the Service Managers and Business Support Managers in achieving the team objectives.
We are looking for a motivated pro-active member of staff with great organisational and interpersonal skills.
You will have the ability to adapt to change in a fast -paced environment and be able to demonstrate that you are confident and have experience and the ability to use your initiative to provide support by liaising with organisations to deliver change initiatives .

The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication and administrative skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
The principal role of this post is to holdthe oversight of the day-to-day management and delivery of the 0-19 and Safeguarding administration service across Bedfordshire and Luton, including regular review of processes and practices to provide a service that is effective, efficient, and responsive to service needs.
The post holder will develop processes and practices to deliver an aligned service offer across Bedfordshire and Luton and foster a 'one team' approach to provide consistency and resilience.
He/she will utilise the Quality Improvement model and will be supported by the Business Support Senior team to develop the service within the scope of a project to review and develop administration services across Bedfordshire and Luton Children's Services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the 0-19 and Safeguarding Leads and business support manager in planning and co-ordinating the administrative processes to support the clinical teams. Be responsible for day-to-day management of the 0-19 administration service across Bedfordshire and Luton and development and delivery of the one team 0-19 and Safeguarding approach using the Quality Improvement model. Implement effective communication strategies to promote staff involvement in the one team approach and related work streams, encouraging teams to consider new ways of working and promote one team culture. Support the clinical service leads in introducing changes to administrative systems in line with service modernisation and Ensure that all work is completed within teams and reallocate resources as Manage and oversee the recruitment process, starters and leavers within the administration teams, including being a member of shortlisting and interviewing Support with data requests including access to records, clinical audits as Respond to complaints and incidents relating to administration and administrative processes, including formulating remedial action plans as Escalate concerns, complaints as appropriate to Clinical and Service Ensure that all administration staff have a full induction within areas of Ensure the Trusts Health and Safety policy is fully implemented within service Ensure that agreed safety procedures are adhered to within specific areas of responsibility, maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors under the Health and Safety at work act.
