Clinical service lead - Carelink
Carelink is a CAMHS multi-disciplinary team providing specialist assessment and treatment for looked after and adopted children & young people aged 0-18 years. The team is based at the Lister Health Centre in Peckham and provides regular training placements for psychotherapists and psychologists, and opportunities for training placements for clinicians from other disciplines. This is an experienced team who hold 'going the extra mile' as a central tenet to their work with highly vulnerable young people and their carers.
The Team leader will provide highly specialist clinical work within the team (0.5 sessions) and operational management covering the planning, directing and management of the service (0.5 sessions).

Main duties of the job
'CareLink is a long established team, the post holder will work alongside senior clinicians in the MDT to offer collaborative leadership within a skilled MDT
Clinical: You will undertake specialist mental health and emotional wellbeing assessments and providing evidence based interventions for children who are looked after by Southwark or are adopted from or living in Southwark. You will also provide support and advice to foster carers and take part in multiagency meetings where required.
Team Leadership: You willorganise andchair team and referrals meetings and provide immediate advice and direction to all members of the Service, and others in relation to complex organisational practice situations as necessary. You will also provide leadership (in conjunction with the Service Manager, Heads of Professions and Lead Clinicians) to support team practice being of the highest quality and meeting relevant standards.
Staff Management:You will line manage clinical staff within the team and ensure that they access regular supervision, appraisal and professional development, liaising with Heads of profession and training departments as appropriate.

- Recognised Professional Qualification in Social Work (DipSW/CQSW), Mental Health Nursing (RMN), Psychology or any allied medical profession
