The programme aims to provide an intensive rehabilitation service for service users across Birmingham and Solihull. Hertford House is a 10 bedded male Community Rehabilitation unit, based in Olton, Solihull.

An experience and understanding of recovery principles within a rehabilitation setting would be desirable but not essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation to deliver personalised care whilst incorporating our trust values.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills in a specialised and rewarding environment. We welcome innovative attitudes in developing holistic care within a creative and recovery focused multi-disciplinary setting . Excellent communication and motivation skills are an essential part of your required roles and responsibilities.

Main duties of the job

You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in providing recovery focused, patient centred care. Staff are required to demonstrate multidisciplinary and multiagency working by actively leading discharge planning, seeking funding and acquiring appropriate accommodation.

This opportunity is at Hertford House which provides a Community inpatient rehabilitation service for service users across Birmingham and Solihull. Supporting recovery through: reintegration, providing holistic treatments promoting social inclusion, self-management, personnel autonomy and independence. We pride ourselves on valuing and supporting our staff team, which in turn allows us to deliver compassionate, none judgemental and evidence based care. We see each individual we care for as having the skills and ability to achieve their own personal recovery.

The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of recovery principles within a non- acute inpatient setting.
